Meet Our Board


Travis Brown (He/Him)
Travis is the Co-Founder and current Chair of the YES Foundation Board of Directors. He has served on the board in a variety of roles and terms throughout the history of the organization. He currently works as the Director of HR/Operations for Lake Burien Presbyterian Church and previously spent over 20 years working in the financial and human resources industries for a variety of organizations.
Travis has his bachelor’s degree in human resource management from the University of Phoenix and received his certification in Non-Profit Management from the University of Washington.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his husband, experiencing new things, and spending time with friends and family, but prefers to spend as much time as possible sipping a beverage on a beach in the sun.​

Carrie O'Brien (She/Her)
Carrie is a fundraising coordinator and current Vice President of the YES! Foundation Board of Directors. Carrie loves this opportunity to support amazing programs that serve a wonderful community. Carrie has worked in education in a variety of roles for over 25 years. She currently works at Green River College supporting programs helping youth and adults re-engage in education and those seeking to better their English language skills.
Aside from her work with the YES! Foundation, she also volunteers as a Girl Scout Leader and in her free time loves to travel and play board and card games with friends.

Raemo Trevino (He/Him)
Raemo is a dedicated and driven individual with a deep passion for both community service and sports. With a rich background in athletics, Raemo played college football at Idaho State University for 7 years, a journey that not only honed his leadership skills but also instilled in him the values of perseverance, teamwork, and commitment. During his time at Idaho State, he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and a Master's in Public Administration, equipping him with a strong foundation in governance, policy, and public service.
Raemo is a family-oriented and faith-driven individual who is passionate about giving back to his community. He has turned his love for football into a rewarding coaching career, mentoring and inspiring high school athletes. His approach to coaching is rooted in discipline, respect, and fostering personal growth both on and off the field.
Growing up in the Lake Burien area and being actively involved with the Yes! Foundation throughout his youth and now leading up to adulthood. Raemo has always been committed to helping others and positively impacting his community. He brings a unique perspective to the board, combining his experience in sports, education, and public service to work towards meaningful change.

Lisa Nguyen (She/Her)
Lisa Nguyen went to Mount View, Cascade, and Evergreen (HS3) and grew up in the White Center area. She works for a Marine Transportation company and specializes in coordinating shipping freight in and out of Alaska. Lisa's connection through YES! started in HS when she joined the Bike Club. Fun fact, Lisa biked from Seattle to Portland (200+ miles) through Bike Club/Major Taylor Project. Now, Lisa is of co-host the "Inside White Center" Podcast with a small group of amazing people who all grew up in WC.

In her free time Lisa loves binge watching shows, cooking & baking, hanging out in WC, and going on mini adventures. Lisa attended Western Washington University and was the first in her family to graduate college. She earned a degree in management and communications. ​

Sili Savusa (She/Her/Suga)
Sili Savusa has more than 20 years of experience in leadership and community service positions involving policy development, cross-cultural coalition building and community organizing for social justice issues. She is currently the Executive Director of the Pacific Islander Community Association of Washington. PICA's mission is to establish a cultural home, center community power, and advocate to further the wellness of Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander (NH/PI) communities physically, culturally, socially, and spiritually.
Sili serves on the Washington State Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs committee and Community Center for Education Results steering committee. Previously, she was the Executive Director of the White Center Community Development Association for twelve years and before that was the Family Center Coordinator for Southwest Youth and Family Services. Sili served as a Highline School Board Director in 2008-2012 and she founded the first Samoan/Pacific Islander Parent Teacher Student Association in the nation, which works to address education issues impacting Pacific Islander students and their families.

Diane Grim (She/Her)
Diane Grim is a new member of the Yes! Foundation. 43-year-old born and raised in White Center, Washington. Growing up, she was an avid speed skater at Southgate, where she developed a passion for sports that continues today.
For the past 17 years, Diane has thrived in the real estate industry, helping clients navigate the complexities of buying and selling homes. Outside of work, she is deeply committed to her community. As a mother of three, Diane coaches 8th-grade boys’ volleyball, where she inspires young athletes to grow both on and off the court. Additionally, she's an active member of a local book club, where they share a love for reading and meaningful discussions.
Diane is a dedicated professional, coach, and parent, balancing a successful career with a deep commitment to family and community.​

Henok Gebreyohannes (He/Him)
Henok was born in Eritrea but raised in white center. He stayed right at home, getting his education from Mount view, Cascade, and ultimately graduating from Evergreen (HS3). He works for Choose180 which is a non profit org in Burien as a Community Navigator for the Restorative Community Pathways program, working with at risk youth. He also works with the Seattle foundation as a White Center advocate for the Neighbor to Neighbor program, providing funding for different orgs throughout the community. In his free time he loves to eat, hang out with close friends, and has an ear for good music.

Bobbie Benavente (She/Her)
Bobbie is an experienced Senior Benefits Professional with a specific skill set in Benefits Management, Leaves of Absence Management, and HRIS with over 20 years in the Benefits. She has led the benefits vision and direction at companies of all sizes and industries. She is currently the Director of Benefits and Leave of Absence for Aegis Living, an assisted living and memory care organization. Previously, she was the Benefits Manager at Avalara a national tax and cloud-based support organization, where she led the benefits and HRIS platforms and provided strategy for all employees. Before this, she was Benefits Manager at Seattle based companies BECU and Russell Investments where she made great strides in their total rewards programs and benefits offerings. She also held a seat on the board of many LGBTQA, Women's and Diversity Employee Resource Groups.
Bobbie and her wife, Andy, have been best friends for over 30 years and finally decided to make it official and got married this past July. Together they have two beautiful children, Bobbie's 23-year-old daughter and Andy's 19-year-old son. They are both so proud of them and who they have become as young adults. They also have their furry family that includes two dogs and three cats. In Bobbie's free time, she enjoys finding time to spend with her wife, family, and friends. ​

Aurora Behnke (She/Her)
Aurora joined the YES! Foundation board as Treasurer in May 2024, bringing her support and financial expertise. In 2022, while living in Denver, Aurora graduated summa cum laude with her B.S. in business administration and finance from the University of Colorado. She started her career in finance as a Banking Officer, specializing in financial analysis and relationship management, and helping small businesses and nonprofits in her community navigate growth and banking solutions.

Aurora is currently an Administrative Manager at a Montessori school, where she oversees operations and business planning. Working at the school has given her firsthand insight into running a successful, community-centered business while deepening her passion for supporting programs that provide opportunities for children to grow into young leaders.

In her free time, Aurora loves hanging out with her dog and two cats, trying out fun crafts, reading fantasy and mystery books, and going on adventures with her husband, Joel, and their friends!

Cindy Keller (She/Her)
Cindy joined the board in 2025 and supported the YES! Foundation for the past two years in the Jack Thompson Sports Camp with her organization, BECU. Professionally, she is the Retail Branch Manager for the BECU Burien branch. Aside from her work with the YES! Foundation, she also volunteers for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. In her free time, she loves to travel and try out new recipes.
